The
World Master Chefs Society has evolved from the International
Academy of Chefs founded in 1947, by the past world president
Mr. Jean Conil, who passed away in 2000. In addition to an illustrious
career as a master Chef, Mr. Conil was a successful author of
over 100 cookery books. He was also a cookery writer for the
London Times and food consultant to a number of multi-national
food companies in London's famous retail food store Fortnum
and Mason.
The Society now reaches senior chefs Worldwide with Chapters
across the globe including USA, Canada, Japan and many in Europe.
With reputable chefs being awarded both the "Fellow" status
and "Member" grade, the Society has begun looking to the new
generation of talent within the industry with the "Graduate"
memberships.
At the World Master Chef Society our main objectives are the
promotion of the art and science of fine cuisine, creativity
and production, education through demonstrations, product endorsements,
promoting the interests and recognition of Master Chefs and
others within the culinary profession. The Society actively
supports the high standards of culinary excellence in every
field of food production
